San Jose del Cabo Humane Society presents the Sixth Annual “Dog Day Afternoon” - Flora’s Farm hosts fundraiser on May 3, 2009.

The San Jose del Cabo Humane Society invites all animal and food lovers to attend “Dog Day Afternoon,” a fundraiser at the Greene’s Fabulous Flora’s Farm on Sunday, May 3, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Our Humane Society continues to benefit from everyone’s generous gifts and donations, as well as have the chance to continue making a much needed difference to the lives of those who can’t speak for themselves and improve the quality of life for all in Los Cabos.
We spayed and neutered over 1000 animals since the 1sr of January, 2009. The cost of each animal is 550 pesos at this rate the dog population will be in control within the next 2 years.

• Sample original cuisines by local chefs. Thus year we have Local Restaurants including Local 8, Edith’s, El Vaqueros, Voila, Frutopica, The French Riviera, Casianos, Teo’s Burgers, and the Seven Seas. This year will be better than ever.

• Our local celebrity judges will judge the restaurants in 7 different categories with our special guest Judge Troy Chandler from Bonsai Bistro in Couer D’Alene, Idaho.
• Relax with friends in a fantastic farm setting
• Participate in our raffle for a 100 bottle wine collection.
• Kids can play and eat in the special kids area
• Bid on silent and live auction items! Packages include art, jewelry, spa treatments, fishing trips, and more — something for everyone!
• Special Guest Ursula Hermacinscki, well known Auctioneer who has been involved with Wine auctions and fund raisers throughout Napa Valley and Aspen.

Driving Instructions

• Park at the Soccer field at Puerto Los Cabos, Shuttles will take you to the farm
• Please note that parking attendants will guide you, and all vehicles will be watched by security

Tickets
• $650 pesos (US $50 dollars) in advance – 750 pesos ($60 USD) at the door
• Corporate tables are available for $1500 – this entitles you to a table in the shade with priority parking at the farm, seating and restaurant tasting, by allowing entry an hour early.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We would like to invite you to be a part of the Celebrity Green Carpet “Step & Repeat” photo installation at this year’s Dog Day Afternoon event on May 3rd. Many of these photos end up on Facebook and Myspace profiles as well offering one of Cabo’s best “viral” (and free) advertising opportunities.

$5000 Sponsorship
This level includes a corporate table for the Dog Day Afternoon event for 10 people, your name in the program given to all attendees, two tickets to a “meet and greet” on Saturday, May 2nd featuring special guest chef Troy Chandler. Troy will prepare a variety of dishes based on the menus from the Bonsai Bistro and P.F. Chang at the magical outdoor kitchen at Flore Farm. You will also meet our special guest Auctioneer Ursula Hermancinski formerly of Christie’s Auction House, currently the “Goddess of the Gavel” in wine auctions according to Food & Wine Magazine. And, you will be one of the three sponsors whose logo will appear on the Celebrity Green Carpet “Step & Repeat” mentioned above.

This level includes two tickets to the meet and greet with Troy and Ursula and you will be one of the three sponsors whose logo will appear on the Celebrity Green Carpet “Step & Repeat”.
